Quick Fix Of Safety Deposit Box Saves Customer Cost Of A New One
The Huntington Beach customer was telling Service Champions technician Andy about the new safety deposit box she had just bought to replace the old one, which was broken.
She pointed out the old box to Andy. He looked at it a little closer.
“I don’t think there is anything wrong with the old one except the handle,” he said. “I could probably fix it for you.”
“That’d be great!” she said. “I could take this one back if the old one is fixed.”
Andy could see that one of the rings on the handle had loosened up. He got his needle nose pliers, put the ring back through the handle and then through the box itself. After that, it was just a matter of tightening it back down.
Voila! Good as new!
The customer was very happy with the fix and said she’d be taking the new box back and getting her money back.
Andy, way to take a few minutes to make that fix and save your customer some money! Keep those ‘Good Deeds For Free’ coming!
