“The Look On His Face Was Like Santa Claus Pulled Up On His Sleigh With His Reindeer”
At Service Champions, our goal is to maintain a culture of friendliness and Good Deeds both inside and outside our company. We talk about doing Good Deeds for clients and for community members, but we also help each other out, too!
That was the case when Service Champions technician Shaq got a flat tire and didn’t have a spare available. He began calling other techs to see if anyone could help. He was able to get a hold of fellow technician Landon, who was finishing up a job.
“I was nearing the end of my work day,” Landon explained. “It was 10pm at night but I told him I’d come help him out as soon as I was done.”
It had already been a long day, and Landon was in Riverside and would need to drive about 30 minutes to get to where Shaq was in Phillips Ranch. But it was worth it when he saw how happy Shaq was to see him when he got there.
“Oh man, the look on his face was like Santa Claus pulled up on his sleigh with his reindeer,” Landon said. “He was stoked that somebody was there to help him out.”
Landon not only brought him a spare tire, he also stayed and helped Shaq get the flat tire off and mount the spare.
“We got him back on the road and on his way home,” Landon said.
Landon, thanks for proving that Good Deeds aren’t just for clients and community members… they’re also something we do for each other!
