A Good Deed For The 92-Year-Old Student!

Service Champions technician Frank was at a home on a service call in Mission Viejo, and there he found the perfect example of lifelong learning.

It all started with Frank making a simple offer, one he makes all the time. “Hey, before I leave today, let me know if there’s something I can do for you.”

“I do have something that I could use help with,” she said. The homeowner took him to the garage and asked if he could get down a box of papers that were high up on a shelf.

“This is helpful, I need these papers for my classes,” the client said.

“Oh, your classes, what do you mean?” Frank asked.

“Well, I am only 92 years old and I still go and take classes the Learning Center,” she said.

“Oh, that’s very cool – you’re 92 years young and you are still taking classes,” Frank said. “You are never too old to learn something new.”

“Exactly,” she said.

Frank got down the papers she needed and brought them into the living room so she could go through them.

She thanked Frank for helping her.

“She’s cool, and down to earth,” Frank said. “I was happy to be able to help her get what she needed for her classes.”Great job Frank – that’s another Good Deed For Free!
