Service Champions technician James loves talking with his clients.
“I always enjoy talking with people about what they do or what they are interested in,” James said. “The homeowners I talk with have so many interesting hobbies and interests.”
So it wasn’t unusual that James struck up a conversation with a homeowner in Foothill Ranch about her hobby. But her hobby was a little unusual.
“It turned out she’s retired, but for fun and a little bit of extra money she makes glow rings and glow beads and sells them online,” James said. “I’m interested in arts and crafts myself, so we started talking about the process she uses.”
She described for James how she dips the beads into a substance that makes them glow in the dark.
James had remembered she had dogs and it gave him an idea about a use for the glow rings and beads.
“You know what?” he said. “Those rings and beads would be a great thing to have on a dog when you’re walking after dark. It would be so much easier to keep track of where the dog is.”
