Who’ll Stop The Rain? This Service Champions Technician!

On his way into a Pomona home to perform a tune-up, Service Champions technician Stan noticed a pick-up truck in the driveway with the windows rolled down. Stan didn’t think too much about it at the time.

A bit later, he was halfway through the tune-up and needed something from his service vehicle. As he went out, he realized that it was raining hard. Really hard.

And that’s when Stan remembered those open windows on the truck.

Instead of going straight to his vehicle, Stan stopped and checked on the truck. He could see water was getting in, but luckily the doors were unlocked. Stan quickly rolled up both windows to save the seats and interior from any damage.

Stan returned to the house with the tools he needed and told the customer that he had rolled up the windows because of the heavy rain.

The homeowner was surprised and very thankful. “Wow, you really did that?”

Stan explained the Good Deeds For Free philosophy. “We’re always looking for ways to help our customers. We always want to treat customers like we would want to be treated.”

The homeowner and Stan enjoyed chatting. Stan loves dogs and made quick friends with the customers Labrador Retriever. He also thoroughly explained to the customer the services he was performing during the tune-up.

“He was really engaged,” Stan said. “He was appreciative that I was involving him and educating him about his air conditioner. He was a really cool guy to talk with.”

Stan, it might have been pouring outside, but you made it a beautiful day inside for this customer. Keep those Good Deeds coming!
