Tech Stops To Help With Smoking Truck
Service Champions technician Landon had left his last job of the day and was headed back home. As he was driving, he noticed two guys pulled over on the side of the road. The hood was up and the truck was smoking.
Even though he was a bit tired from working all day, Landon decided he should stop to see if he could help.
It was lucky for the men with the truck that he did!
“They had a leaking radiator,” Landon said.
As it turned out, the guys knew how to fix it, but they didn’t have the right tools. There were some loose hose clamps that needed tightening to stop the leak, but they didn’t have anything that could reach down near the clamps.
Landon returned to his service vehicle and grabbed the tools they needed. “Here, you can use these,” Landon said.
Landon leant them a drill and extension. The extension allowed them to get down closer to the clamps and tighten the hoses.
“They knew what they were doing,” Landon said. “I could see that. But they just needed someone who had the tools.”
Landon also helped them out with some duck sealant to make the hose fit better and stop leaking. After everything was fixed up, the guys shook Landon’s hand and told them how grateful they were that he had taken the time to stop.
Landon, you’re a superhero! You spread the Good Deeds For Free philosophy everywhere you go.
