Technician’s Simple Good Deed Makes Her Day

Service Champions technician Brian noticed a step ladder set up in the kitchen of Laguna Woods home where he was doing a tune-up.

“Hey, I see you have a ladder set up over there – is there something I can help you with?” Brian asked.

Actually, there was. The homeowner was decorating and wanted to display a porcelain carousel up on a high shelf. But she was worried it was a little heavy for her to climb with and put on the shelf safely.

“Well, that’s something I can do for you,” Brian said. “Part of our company philosophy is to do good deeds any chance we get.”

The client was happy to have the help and Brian quickly got it up on the shelf. It was both heavy and fragile and Brian understood why she was concerned about lifting it herself.

Brian says he tries to make sure he does at least one Good Deed a day and enjoys spreading happiness by doing the little extras.

“She was extremely happy,” Brian said. “It feels good when doing a simple act can make someone’s day.”
