Technician & Homeowner Work Together To Tend To Injured Dog

Service Champions technician Damon was in a garage at a San Juan Capistrano home doing a tune up when the homeowner came in to let out her dog.

When the dog returned, Damon sensed something was wrong. The dog seemed to be trying to hide, and then Damon noticed the dog wasn’t using one of his back legs.

Damon went to find the homeowner and told her he noticed the dog was shaking and limping.

“Oh my gosh!” she exclaimed as she went to the dog to see what was wrong. Luckily, she’s a nurse and knew what to do.

Together with Damon, they held the dog and looked over the dog’s paw thoroughly using a Q-Tip dipped in hydrogen peroxide.

They eventually figured out there didn’t seem to be any open cut, but there was a tender red spot, probably a bee sting.

After treating the dog with some time and patience, the dog started to recover and was able to put a little weight back on the paw.

The homeowner was relieved, and Damon was happy, too.

“It’s nice to be able to lend a hand to our clients in these situations,” Damon said.

Well done, Damon, that’s another helpful Good Deed For Free!
