Service Champions technician David was done with his service calls for the day and was at a gas station filling up his tank.
A couple from Huntington Beach was stranded. They husband had forgotten to bring his wallet and they had no way to fill up their car.
After several people had turned them down, David realized he didn’t have any money on him to give them.
But he did see an ATM inside the gas station, and he withdrew $20 for them.
“I wanted to make sure they got home,” David said.
The wife was very appreciative and went to tell her husband.
“I didn’t wait around for his thanks,” David said. “I was just happy knowing they would be able to get gas and get home.”
