Autism is near and dear to our hearts. In 2009, Leland Smith learned that his grand-nephew Caleb was diagnosed with autism. It was then that he committed to help fight for autism awareness. Once he shared his commitment with family and friends, he learned that Caleb was not the only one in his life to be affected. We found that we have team members at Service Champions that have children with autism. Autism affects roughly 1 in every 68 children. Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding global research into the causes, prevention, treatments and possible cures for autism.
Service Champions first joined forces with Walk Now for Autism speaks in 2010 to help raise awareness and we continue to support Autism Speaks. Again this year, we are looking forward to support the Orange County walk for Autism Speaks.
We are committed to helping raise awareness and finding a cure. – For more information, please visit:
At Service Champions, it’s not only about taking care of our customers, but also about taking care of and giving back to our community. Below are just a few of the ways that we are involved in our community.
